How does SnapTidy find similar photos?
It reads the photo library on your device, compares photos taken close together in time, and groups the ones that look alike using Apple's on-device Vision framework. Everything happens locally.
Are my photos uploaded anywhere?
No. The app contains no networking code and no third-party SDKs. Your photos are never sent to us or to anyone else. Automatic download of originals from iCloud is disabled, so scanning uses only the copies already on your device.
How many photos can I delete for free?
The free version lets you delete up to 30 photos. Unlocking the full version removes that limit permanently. It is a one-time purchase — not a subscription, and nothing ever renews.
I already paid, but the app still shows the limit.
Open the unlock screen and tap Restore Purchase. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple Account you used to buy it. Purchases can be restored on any device tied to that Apple Account.
Where did my deleted photos go? Can I get them back?
They go to the iOS Recently Deleted album, exactly as if you had deleted them in the Photos app, and they stay recoverable there for about 30 days. Open Photos → Albums → Recently Deleted → Select → Recover to restore them.
The app found few or no similar photos.
SnapTidy groups photos that genuinely look alike, so a tidy library can legitimately produce few groups. Screenshots, downloads, and photos taken far apart in time are intentionally not grouped. If your library is large, allow the scan to finish — it processes day by day.
The app says access is denied.
Open iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos → SnapTidy Cleaner and choose Full Access. SnapTidy needs full access to scan for similar photos and to delete the ones you select.
How do I request a refund?
Purchases are handled by Apple, so refunds are too. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, and select the purchase. We cannot issue refunds on Apple's behalf.
Is this a subscription?
No. SnapTidy Pro is a single one-time purchase. There is no subscription, no trial that converts into a charge, and no recurring billing of any kind.
